Third Party Trust Preferred Securities (en este apartado tienes una lista de 195) también tienes lista de acciones preferentes, convertibles y eft......
This table includes 195 third party trust preferred securities. Third party trust preferreds are similar to trust preferred securities and should be of interest to income investors. The securities are sold under a variety of names and acronyms including CABCO Trusts, Corporate Backed Trust Certificates (CBTCs), CorTS, PCARS, PPLUS, SATURNS, STEERS, TRUCs, etc. In general, the securities are institutional preferred and debt securities that have been purchased by a third party (a major brokerage firm) on the open market and repackaged for sale to individual investors in $25 or $10 denominations. Their redemption provisions in particular can be difficult to understand but they should prove profitable for the income investor that takes the time to understand the securities. One basic difference in these securities is that they generally pay their distributions semi-annually rather than quarterly. Third party trust preferreds are NOT eligible for the 15% tax rate as the underlying security issuer uses the interest paid to the trust as a tax deductible expense which makes the security ineligible for the new tax rate.
En Los certificados lo que se busca es rentabilidad normalmente el 7 por ciento, con pago semestral normamente. se compran y venden como acciones, normalmente tienen muy buen liquidez.
